Her students have performed on Broadway, National Tours, Regional Theatre, Film and Television. You’ve seen the dancers from Dimensions on So You Think You Can Dance and in the film adaptations of Hairspray and Chicago. Kim’s training has built the foundation for performers who are in NY working with the Radio City Rockettes and performing in The Producers, Memphis, Finian’s Rainbow. They are on tour with Tap Dogs. They are performing at Canada’s prestigious Stratford Festival in Crazy For You and Midsummer Night’s Dream. They are featured performers in Dratyon Entertainment’s Dance Legends, in Charlottetown’s famous Anne of Green Gables and so much more.
Her dancers are working at Universal Studios in Japan, Disneyworld in Florida, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and working on Disney, Holland American and Princess Cruise Lines. When a dancer graduates from Dimensions to pursue higher education, they are invited to the finest arts institutions. Many move on to the National Ballet School of Canada, the Quinte Ballet School, Ryerson University, the Randolph Academy and the Debbie Allen Performing Arts Company in California.
For the past six years, Kimberly has worked closely with Olympic Pairs Skating Coaches Kris & Kristy Wirtz, integrating dance into the KW Skating club and helping their skaters achieve worldwide acknowledgment. Kimberly brings their programs to a new level of fluidity and grace, gaining them notable titles including Canadian Junior and Senior Pair Champions, Junior World Champions, 4th in Senior Pair Worlds and OLYMPIC SIVLER MEDALS for Kristen Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch. Kimberly loves bringing her dance expertise to Canada’s most talented and driven athletes.
With Kimberly’s outstanding choreography and technique, her students continue to compete at an International level and are regularly invited to compete and appear with Abby Lee Miller on her hit TV show Dance Moms. Dimensions In Dance currently holds the of Junior Mr. World Dance as well as 1st and 2nd Runner Up for Jr. Miss World Dance. Her dancers have scholarships at The Edge in L.A. and are featured in instructional videos from The Broadway Dance Centre in New York. They are sought after as apprentices and assistants to Industry Leaders such as: Mia Michaels, Dee Caspery, Chris Judd and Brian Freidman. Kim’s dancers have been featured on the cover of the American publication of Dance Teacher Now and have appeared in the prestigious Dance Magazine.
Locally, Kimberly continues to give back to the community and help foster Kitchener-Waterloo’s thriving Arts Community. She choreographed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Footloose for Kitchener Waterloo Musical Productions. Her dancers volunteer their time for many fundraisers throughout the community including: The Blooming Affair Fashion Show at Bingeman’s and The Hope Benefit at The Centre In The Square.
She is sought after as a judge and regularly adjudicates dance competitions and pageants across Canada and the United States, including Las Vegas, California, Dallas, New York and Hawaii.
With over thirty years educating students and as a studio owner, Kim is one of Canada’s most successful Studio Directors.
