Dimensions offers a variety of disciplines including: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro and Contemporary. We offer classes at both the recreational and competitive level. At Dimensions, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the Arts; therefore, we try to keep our classes and costumes as affordable as possible. We are one of the very few studios to offer a family rate for dance classes.
From the age of 2 ½ to adult all students are challenged according to their age and ability. There is no student that we are unwilling to work with, in one capacity or another.
The motto of Dimensions in Dance is “The Studio With A Difference”. We pride ourselves in the team-spirit and commitment that is ingrained in all of our dancers through the staff. It is with great pride that we stand back and watch our students take to the stage. Self satisfaction and a feeling of true success occurs each time we see one of our dancers master a new skill, or perform with a new sense of confidence.
This can only be accomplished with a dedicated and truly caring staff. We are so fortunate to have teachers that enjoy their work and are willing to share their love of dance with your children.
Competitively, Dimensions in Dance is the leader! Our dancers have competed at both regional and national competitions all over Canada and the United States. Our dancers have won countless awards in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, and contemporary disciplines. Dimensions’ dancers have gone on to perform on cruise ships, local theatre, in movies, and have placed in the top of “So Do You Think You Can Dance Canada”.
Dimensions is now the home to approximately 300 recreational students and approximately 150 competitive students.
For decades, Dimensions in Dance has been training dancers of all ages. We are proud of all of their accomplishments. Come and discover why we are Kitchener-Waterloo’s leading dance studio!
Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.
Dimensions in Dance opened its doors to approximately 35 students in 1986. What started out as a small dream has grown into Kitchener-Waterloo’s leading dance school.
